Building free, honest digital tools for the board game community, one game at a time.
Hi, I'm Kostas — a software developer based in Athens, Greece, and a lifelong board game enthusiast. I've been playing hobby board games for over a decade, ever since a friend introduced me to 7 Wonders at a university game night. What started as a casual evening turned into a full-blown obsession with euros, engine-builders, and co-ops that now fills two shelves and most of my weekends.
The spark for this site came from a very familiar moment: the game is over, everyone is tired and excited, and then comes fifteen minutes of frantic paper scoring, disputed science guild symbols, and someone inevitably saying "wait, did we count the treasury?". After one too many evenings like that, I decided to fix it myself. I built the first version of the 7 Wonders score calculator in a single weekend — a clean, mobile-friendly page that lives in your browser, needs no installation, and walks you through every category step by step.
That was the beginning of Game Night Pro. What started as one calculator for one game has grown into a toolkit I keep expanding because I genuinely use it myself at my own table.
Game Night Pro exists for one reason: to keep the fun at the table and the friction off it. Scoring and rule-lookup should never be the reason a game night stalls. Every tool on this site is designed with real players in mind — people who are sitting around a table, probably on a phone, who just want a fast and reliable answer.
I maintain and update the tools based on real feedback from players. If something is confusing or incorrect, I fix it. Accuracy matters — a wrong score calculator is worse than no calculator at all.
7 Wonders remains my favourite game of all time and the heart of this site. It is a masterclass in design: it handles 2–7 players simultaneously with almost zero downtime, packs genuine strategic depth into a 30-minute game, and produces a completely different experience every session depending on the wonders, neighbours, and drafting order. New players can learn it in ten minutes; veterans are still finding new guild combinations years later.
The one rough edge has always been end-game scoring. Science sets, treasury coins, longest road in Leaders, wonder stages — tallying all of this while seven people talk over each other is genuinely error-prone. The 7 Wonders Score Calculator on this site guides you through every scoring category in order, calculates science sets automatically, and displays a clear final leaderboard. It takes less than two minutes and eliminates recounts entirely.
My collection goes well beyond 7 Wonders. These are some of the games that see the most plays at my table:
Each of these games has its own scoring quirks and rules edge cases. Tools for more games are on my roadmap — if there's a specific game you'd love to see covered, let me know via the contact page below.
I read every message I receive. Whether you've spotted a scoring error, want to suggest a new game tool, have feedback on usability, or just want to say hello — I'd genuinely love to hear from you. You can reach me directly at gamenightpro@yahoo.com or use the contact form below.
