How to Play on GameNight.pro

Choose vs Computer, 2 Players, or Play Online from the mode menu. Click any column — or tap on mobile — to drop your disc. Hovering over a column shows a preview of where your disc will land. Players alternate turns; Red always goes first. The first player to connect four discs in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins. If all 42 cells fill without a winner the game is a draw. In vs Computer mode the AI responds immediately after your move. In Online mode moves sync live between both players — share the code or invite link to connect. Press New Game at any time to reset and replay.

Strategy & Tips

Four key ideas that separate reactive play from deliberate, winning Connect 4 strategy:

• Own the centre column: The middle column connects to more winning lines than any other. Dropping a disc in column 4 on the opening move forces your opponent to react to you immediately.
• Create double threats: The most powerful tactic in Connect 4 is building two separate winning threats simultaneously — your opponent can only block one. Look for "7-trap" positions where two different columns both complete a four-in-a-row for you.
• Think about odd and even rows: In perfect play, threats that land in odd rows favour the first player; threats in even rows favour the second. Understanding which rows your winning moves fall in helps you plan finishes correctly.
• Check what sits above your disc: Before dropping, always look at what your opponent can play directly on top of your disc. A move that completes your three-in-a-row can simultaneously give your opponent a winning response on the very next turn.
