A free browser countdown timer for board game turns, timed rounds, and any activity that benefits from a visible countdown. Set any duration from 30 seconds to an hour, pick from eight chime sounds, and start — no install, no account, and nothing leaves your device.

A circular ring shrinks as time elapses. Colour cues add urgency: the ring and digits shift to amber inside the final minute and red in the last ten seconds, accompanied by a short beep. When the counter reaches zero, a full-screen alert fires and your chosen chime loops until dismissed. Auto-Repeat re-launches the timer after each cycle — ideal for games where the same interval repeats every turn.

How to Use on GameNight.pro

• Choose a duration: Pick a quick preset (30 sec to 1 hour) or enter a custom time in the Hours, Minutes, and Seconds fields, then click Set Timer.
• Select a chime: Click any sound in the Chime Sound panel to preview it. That chime plays when the timer expires.
• Start the timer: Press Start or tap the ring face. Pause freezes the countdown; Resume continues it; Reset returns to the full duration without starting.
• Enable Auto-Repeat: Toggle on to restart the timer automatically after each cycle — useful for recurring turns or interval breaks.
• Dismiss the alarm: When time's up, a full-screen overlay appears with the chime looping. Click Dismiss to silence it and reset the cycle count.

When to Use This Timer

• Pictionary and drawing rounds: Set 60 or 90 seconds and enable Auto-Repeat — every player's drawing window runs back-to-back automatically, no manual restart needed.
• Speed rounds in trivia and party games: Keep answer time strict in Taboo, Articulate, or pub quizzes. The amber-and-red shift creates visible urgency without a referee calling out the clock.
• Board game turn limits: Enforce per-turn time limits in Scrabble, Catan, or Risk when the evening is running long. Start each turn with a tap and reset when done.
• Interval breaks between games: Use 1–2 minute intervals with Auto-Repeat to time short breaks. The klaxon or siren chime cuts through background noise to signal when play resumes.
