How to Play on GameNight.pro

Press the arrow keys or WASD to slide all tiles in one direction at once. On mobile, swipe instead. Identical tiles that collide merge into their sum — 2+2 becomes 4, 4+4 becomes 8, and so on. Strategy & Tips

Four techniques that push your score well above the 2048 tile:

• Anchor a corner: Pick one corner — usually bottom-left — and never let your largest tile leave it. Build your second-largest tile adjacent to it and fill the rest of that row in descending order.
• Avoid upward slides (when anchoring bottom): If your strategy places the highest tile at the bottom, restrict upward swipes as much as possible. A single up-swipe can displace your anchor and unravel the whole board.
• Build a descending snake: Arrange tiles in a snake pattern from your corner outward — 512, 256, 128, 64. Merges then cascade naturally down the chain in one direction.
• Think about empty cells, not just score: Before swiping, look for the move that creates the most empty cells rather than the highest immediate merge. A crowded board is a losing board.
• Slow down: Every move is irreversible. Pause and mentally trace the board state after each potential swipe before committing. Speed is how games are lost, not won.
